Subject: Toronto recap, onto Vancouver and LA!

October 28, 2024

The energy at ADFF:Toronto was fantastic. Engaged audiences, sold out screenings, great parties, and speakers discussing design, humanity, our connections, and our differences. The films bring us together to think about how design directs everything and how it can change the world. Here are some pictures from Toronto.

On opening night, Eventscape surprised ADFF director Kyle Bergman with a Canadian dinner jacket (far right). On stage left to right is Gareth Brennan (Eventscape President), Brigitte Shim (Shim-Sutcliffe Principal), and Joel Leon (Toronto Society of Architects CEO).

The opening night film was presented by Neinkamper. Here are the film's directors Danny Berish and Ryan Mah (far left and far right) with producer Leah Mallen and Beatrix Nienkamper, Klaus Nienkamper, and Rebecca Nienkamper.

The opening night world premiere of Arthur Erickson: Beauty Between the Lines was sold out in TIFF's largest cinema with over 500 people attending.

The after party at Cibo Wine Bar hosted by Eventscape and Upper Canada was buzzing. Architect Wyn Bielaska with Arthur Erickson film directors Ryan Mah and Danny Berish.
