Subject: One Month Until ADFF's 2024/25 Season

August 28, 2024

September in New York is always busy. This year, ADFF:NY takes place little earlier than usual, so mark your calendars for September 25-28, 2024. If you're based in another city, let your New York friends know about ADFF so they can preview the films and give you tailored recommendations. We also love it when longtime friends of the festival expand our reach by buying a ticket for an ADFF-curious New Yorker they know.

Don't miss your chance to see exciting new documentaries including...

Perception (NY Premiere)

Graphic design on an urban scale shines a light on a misunderstood community in Cairo. Manshiyat Nasr is a community of Zaraeeb that has collected the city’s trash for decades and developed the most efficient recycling system in the world. Still, the place is often perceived as dirty, marginalized, and segregated. Tunisian artist eL Seed and his team responded to this perception by creating an anamorphic sculpture that covers almost 50 buildings and is visible from Moqattam Mountain.
