Subject: ADFF:NY Recap; Next up, Canada!

October 5, 2022

ADFF:NY— presented by Eventscape — was a huge success. And, it was great fun to be back for a robust, in-person festival in New York. We’ll be launching the entire season in six cities over the coming weeks and months, followed by ADFF:ONLINE.

Those who made it to the theaters all said how delighted they were to once again see these films on the big screen, greet old friends and make new ones. There were so many great moments it's impossible to capture in a newsletter, but here are a few good ones...

The week before ADFF:NY, Eventscape hosted a sneak preview and party with Winy Maas, architect and co-founder of MVRDV (at left), and Gareth Brennen, CEO of Eventscape.

The Mayor of Rotterdam showed up up for the event, too!  From left, Gareth Brennan; Monique Ruhe,  Consulate of the Netherlands; Winy Mass; Kyle Bergman; Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb.

A great party and then one of many screenings of Under Tomorrow's Sky

The reception before opening night was a great start to the festival.  At left are Elissa Grayer, president of ASID, and Marc Mathieu, co-founder of Web3 Studio at Salesforce.

ADFF founder, Kyle Bergman with Giulia Laugero, head of marketing & business development at Molteni; and Molly Heintz, editor in chief at Oculus Magazine

Following the opening night film, Fashion Reimagined,  was a conversation with the film's producer, Andrea van Beuren (left); and Karan Kariuki, program officer at Grace Farms Foundation.

Finally, a return to the theaters!
