Subject: ADFF NEWSLETTER May 10th 2012

Dear Friend,

The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) wrapped up its 2nd annual festival in Chicago at the Music Box Theatre. The Music Box was a new venue for ADFF and proved to be great draw for Chicagoans - in fact, more than 3,200 design professionals and enthusiasts attended the festival - a 20% increase over last year's Chicago debut!

PRESS COVERAGE:

The festival enjoyed tremendous press coverage in broadcast, digital and print media. One of the most interesting was a 10-minute radio segment on Monocle from England, followed by an interview with Jord den Hollender, a filmmaker/architect that ADFF brought over from Holland to introduce his film and participate in one of ADFF's panel discussions.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:

The festival featured over 31 films, a great opening night party, a PechaKucha evening held in the festival's lounge, four panel discussions and an architectural driving tour.  Audi was the festival's official automotive sponsor, and for the second year offered festival attendees the opportunity to enjoy a 25-minute architecture tour with a tour guide and driver. It was a big hit with festival-goers and we hope to replicate the experience in New York this October.

THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS!
