So I've told you how it's
so important to be presenting
your content in very specific
ways.
Then I talked about the ways
you can effectively promote
your blog.
You must know how to promote
each blog post you write, and
you must DO IT…
consistently (that means daily)
Today, I'll share with you what
I call "The Big Tip" for monetizing
your blog.
It gets down to this...
Your Specific Monetization Structure
Before you've created great content and
promoted it properly, you need to have
something for people to buy, and a means
for them to do it.
So, what can you offer on your blog
to monetize it?
It could be
-affiliate products
-your own products, or
-your services.
I know many bloggers who succeed
at this level, but they
(1) really know their niche
(2) promote their blog relentlessly.
Most new bloggers think that their
content is the most important thing to do.
It is important, of course, but the
promotion is far more important
and time intensive.
The rule of thumb, 20% of your time
should be in creating great content,
80% in promoting it.
Most bloggers I know produce income
by reviewing products and services,
and including affiliate links to them
in their review posts.
That’s probably the best route to
go for a new blogger.
But you do NOT need a million
people reading your blog in
order to monetize it.
Here's my really Big Tip…
You need to develop a tight
following of people really
interested in what you do.
Then you can monetize by
offering your services and
training as well as products.
Yes, it can be done, and is
being done every day.
But a newbie needs time to
learn all the ropes.
If you've struggled to monetize
your blog, don't rush to place ads
and crash your site with sponsored
posts.
That will seriously compromise
your reputation and trustability.
PLAN…
Plot a course for building a strong
following among even a tiny group
of folks who are really interested in
what you are doing.
Then spend the time to implement
that plan each step of the way,
each and every day.
What if you don't know how to
make your big plan?
The truth is, you probably don't.
That’s why I always recommend you
find a good coach to work with right
away.
It saves you so much time and
wasted effort.
If you want to focus on those who
say you can’t do it… then you won’t.
If you choose to work with those who
