Subject: [Blogging to the Bank] Get people "from you blog" --> onto your email LIST (how to)

Hi Friend

Picking up from the
last lesson, let's
talk briefly about
converting blog visitors
into subscribers to your
email list.

You need 2 ways to
do this primarily.

#1 You need some sort
of a top bar that
invites people to join
your email list.

Do a search for
"Hello Bar" to see
how this works.

If you don't like the
"Hello Bar" then I'd
say to search for
"Hello Bar alternative"

There are several.

I use "WPFront Navigation
Bar" - it's really simple,
looks nice, and will open
in a new tab or window.

It's critical that it opens
in a new tab so people still
have your blog open on their
desktop after clicking to
see your optin offer.

#2 Embed links to your
squeeze page in the text
of your articles.

Check just about any of
my blog posts to see
how I do this.

Again, set the links to

The key to making this
work well is to be sure
everything is congruent.

If your blog is about
dog training, make
your free offer on your
squeeze page about dog
training.

Make your follow up
newsletters all about
dog training.

One of the big reasons
that people fail to
convert visitors to
subscribers and then
to customers or clients
is a break in this
congruency.

I'm going to end this
training series here,
and pick up with some
email marketing training
next.

That way, you'll get an
idea of what to do to
optimize the email list
you build via your blog
or website.

In the meanwhile, if
you have any specific
questions on what I've
taught you in this
series... just hit the
reply and ask.

Talk Soon,

Donna
