an online business.

And one of the
best ways to do
it is through blogging.

Now, notice…

I didn’t say that
blogging had to
BE your business.

Although it certainly
can be.

But there’s absolutely
no doubt that blogging
is a key to having a
successful business.

And, by the way, that
pertains to OFF-line
businesses, too.

I consult with many
professionals.

Realtors, doctors,
lawyers and the like.

Their professional practices
are based primarily on having
clients come to their office
where they them to solve
their problems.

Whether it’s

selling their house,
getting a hip replacement
- or
writing up a contract.

All these professionals are
helping real people every day…
OFF-line.

But they find that establishing
an ON-line presence is a
huge, huge way to
build their OFF-line practice.

And blogging about their
special services helps them
get far more clients than
any old-school newspaper
advertising.

But here’s the thing
about blogging.

It all requires content.

Not just any content.

But content that actually
helps other people.

Whether they’re online or
offline people, you have
to understand that they
are real People.

And real People have
real Problems.

That’s why it’s so
important to blog.

Blogging is the perfect
vehicle for delivering your
special brand of problem
solving, for your special
audience that has that
problem to begin with.

So I’m going to spend
some days talking to
you about CONTENT.

That is, the Content
that you put on your
blog, primarily.

But also, other ways
to get that Content in
front of your audience
so you can build your
business or professional
practice.

Today, I’d like you to
just think about 3 things.

1. WHO is your audience?

2. WHAT are some of their
biggest problems or challenges?

3. WHAT is your unique
approach to helping them
solve those problems,
or meet those challenges?

Once you’re clear on
those 3 things…

then you’ll have a much
better idea of how to
use your blog to publish
the right kind of Content.

It would be a great idea
to write down those 3 things.
