Remember the dot-to-dot
books we used to
play with?
What was great
about them was
that all the dots
were lined up for
you.
If you just traced
a line from one to
the other with your
pencil (yes that's
when we used pencils) …
then you would end
up with a perfect picture.
Or at least a pretty nice one :)
Now that was a
lot different than
those books where
you have to draw a
line through a maze
to get to the end-goal.
When you did that,
you could go forever
hitting dead ends
and having to backtrack
and starting all over again.
How annoying.
Sometimes you never
get to the end of the
maze at all.
It would depend on
how complicated the
maze was.
Even if you did
succeed, though,
it would take you
a whole lot longer
wouldn't it?
Well, your online
business is the
same way.
As long as you
have the dots lined
up for you,
all you have to do
is take action and
go from one to the
other.
You don't even
necessarily have to
see the big picture …
as long as you have
somebody who has
lined up the dots
for you.
You just keep going
from dot to dot.
Then you end up
achieving the Big
end result that you
are looking for.
So find a way to get
the dots mapped out
for you.
Use a coach
take a course
read a book
do something so that
you can get the dots
all lined up for you in
order to get to your goal
in the fastest time possible...
and with the least likelihood
of hitting dead ends over
and over again.
Because you know
what happens if you
keep hitting dead ends.
You probably end up
getting nowhere and
just leave the game
altogether.
My best advice is to
hire a coach who will
plot the dots for you.
Then you just have
to follow the game plan
and connect them.
This could pertain to
your whole business
of course.
Or you could use it
for just one part of
your business.
For instance...
say you want to start
using video on your blog.
But you don't know how.
Well you don't have
to hire a coach to show
how to run your entire
blogging business.
You just have to hire
somebody to show you
how to integrate video into it.
So whatever level you're at...
I'm sure that
finding a good coach
to map out the dots for you,
will save you a whole lot of
time
expense
and will actually help you
achieve the results you're
looking for.
