Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 9th - 13th March 2026

Assalamu’alaikum traders,

Week 10 has come to an end. Take a moment to pause and reflect—how did the week treat you?

For some, the plans worked well and the profits followed. Alhamdulillah. For others, the market may have been a humbling teacher. That’s the nature of trading. A successful week isn’t always measured by green numbers. Sometimes the real win is choosing patience over impulse, discipline over ego, and protecting your capital instead of trying to chase back losses.

Some traders are riding strong momentum this year, while others are navigating tougher conditions. Both experiences are part of the journey. Trading has never been about being right every time. It’s about managing risk, staying consistent with your process, and recognizing that occasionally the smartest move… is simply staying out of the market.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – Weekly Recap

Minutes Chart:

📉 Markets remained largely sideways with a slightly bearish tone.

Volatility picked up last week as tensions involving Iran disrupted oil supply, pushing crude prices sharply higher, with Brent briefly moving above $100 per barrel. Rising energy prices added pressure on equities, sending the Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq to their lowest closes of 2026 so far. At the same time, bond yields climbed as investors grew concerned that higher oil prices could slow the recent cooling trend in inflation.

Daily charts:

For now, policymakers are still expected to keep interest rates unchanged, although persistent energy inflation could delay potential rate cuts. Despite the short-term uncertainty, several fundamentals remain supportive—healthy consumer balance sheets, steady earnings growth, and strong economic activity in major energy-exporting countries continue to support a constructive long-term outlook.

Weekly charts:

💬 What’s your view—just a normal pullback, or the start of something bigger?

🌱 Reminder: You don’t have to win every week. You just have to remain calm while others panic.

⚠️ Not financial advice. Always do your own research.

That’s all for now. Close the charts, clear your mind, and realign your niyyah.

Inn Shaa Allah, we go again next Saturday.

May your weekend be peaceful and filled with barakah. 🌙

Assalamu'alaikum and Peace out!

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
