Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 5th - 9th October 2026

Assalamu’alaikum traders,

Alhamdulillah, Week 41 is officially in the books. 🤲🏻

Another week of ups and downs, another reminder that we don’t need to catch every market move to become better traders. Sometimes, knowing when to step back is just as important as knowing when to enter.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – Week 41

📉 Wall Street takes a step back!

U.S. stocks ended the week lower as investors grew cautious about AI-related debt, rising competition, persistent inflation, and higher interest rates. The S&P 500 lost around 2%, while the Nasdaq fell more than 4%, marking its worst week since June. Rising oil prices and geopolitical tensions added to the uncertainty.

Still, strong corporate earnings, resilient economic growth, and steady consumer spending continue to support the broader market. Investors are shifting towards value stocks and defensive sectors, reminding us why diversification and patience matter, especially during uncertain times.

💭 Now, let's talk about you.

How was your trading week?

Did you secure some profits, take a loss, or stay on the sidelines because the right setup never came?

Whatever happened, don't let one week define your progress. Every trade offers a lesson, and sometimes the best trade is the one we choose not to take.

🌱 Stay grounded. The market will always have its ups and downs, but discipline, consistency, and a clear mind will always matter.

Remember, our rizq comes from Allah, not the market. Our responsibility is to learn, prepare, and make wise decisions. The outcome is in His hands.

⚠️ Not financial advice. Always do your own research.

Have a blessed weekend. Rest, recharge, and enjoy time with your loved ones. May Allah place barakah in our rizq, protect us from reckless decisions, and guide us towards what is best.

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
