Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 28th July - 1st August 2025 🗓️

Assalamu’alaikum & hey traders, how’s your week been?

Whether you had a great run in the markets, picked up a few hard-earned lessons, or just did your best to keep things together—kudos to you. It's not always easy, and I see the effort you're putting in. Let’s take a minute to pause, reflect, and reset before heading into the weekend.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – A Quick Look Back

Before we officially switch off for the weekend, let’s do a quick check-in on how things went in the markets this week.

Whether you're someone who watches every candle on the 10-minute chart or just checks in once a week to stay informed, I’ve got a short summary to help keep you in the loop.

Minutes Chart:

📉 The Week in Review:

It’s been a tough one—definitely a bearish vibe across the board.

The Fed held rates steady at 4.25%–4.5% during the July FOMC meeting. While there’s no immediate rate cut, signs are pointing towards a potential shift in September. Meanwhile, fresh tariffs kicked in—some jumping to 41%—hitting trade with key partners like Canada.

Daily charts:

Add to that a sluggish job report (just 73,000 new jobs in July), and a string of tech earnings that didn’t impress, and we saw the Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq all close out their worst week in a while.

So yeah—choppy waters, no doubt.

💬 What’s your take?

Are we gearing up for a bounce-back, or should we expect more turbulence ahead? Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear how you're reading the market right now.

🌱 A Little Reminder:

Trading isn’t a sprint. It’s more like a long journey through different terrains. Some paths are smooth, others not so much. But if you stay consistent, stick to your strategy, and manage your risks wisely—you’ll make it through. The key isn’t to rush, it’s to keep going with intention and patience.

⚠️ Just to be clear:

This isn’t financial advice—just me sharing thoughts and observations. Always do your own research, and if needed, speak with a qualified financial advisor before making any moves.

That’s it from me this week!

Take a deep breath, unwind a little, and In shaa Allah, I’ll catch you next week.

Until then—stay safe, stay grounded, and enjoy your weekend. 🌙✨

Assalamu'alaikum and Peace out!

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
