International Symposium on Non-Communicable Diseases

Health for All Project Goes on Stage in International Health Conferences

From Switzerland to Kosovo, HAP's support to improve the accessibility and quality of primary healthcare in Albania was presented to important international audiences - first at the Swiss Public Health Conference held on September 12-13 in Lausanne and, further, at the International Symposium on NCDs held in Pristina on September 27-28.

ACTIVITIES

HAP Holds Workshop on “Advocacy in Healthcare: Primary Healthcare and Vulnerable Groups”

Representatives of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Media came together to identify advocacy issues in healthcare and the needs of these organizations to carry out advocacy activities in service of these issues.

Family Medicine Teams Continue Training on NCD Prevention and Control

In September-October 2023, selected teams of family medicine practitioners in Tirana, Elbasan, Korça, and Shkodra will be part of a series of Training-of-Trainer sessions regarding the implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for prevalent non-infectious diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, asthma, and COPD.

HAP Enhances Monitoring Capabilities for the Implementation of Home-Based Care

During the months of September and October, monitoring teams from central and local health authorities, as well as managerial teams from 31 healthcare centres are being trained on how to monitor home-based care. The goal is to ensure that benefiting patients receive the care and attention they deserve!
