Does your story matter?

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” --Mae West

I meet so many people who talk themselves out of their own dreams. Here's a big dream: to write that book.

We don't write the book because we tell ourselves we don't know enough. We aren't inspired enough. We don't feel ready to begin.

Do you find yourself questioning whether your story is even worth telling? Do you need practical help getting your book started?

My new friend, Dawn Montefusco, is a fellow writing coach who is producing a video summit for the 21st century writer: Write Because It Matters: Finish Your Book, Leave a Legacy and Inspire Others.

Some of my favorite Portland coaches and creators are speaking at this telesummit, weighing in with wisdom on self-publication and marketing. I'll be one of the featured speakers too. And, I get to invite my writing tribe - you.

The summit happens Monday, April 25. Topics include: what sparked these experts to write a book, the power of words in the digital world, how to stay inspired when you're busy, and overcoming writer's block. (My presentation will air Wednesday, April 28 at 9 a.m.)

So grab a seat at the summit. It's free.

Register for Write Because It Matters.

I can't wait to see you in the next astonishing space of our creativity.
