PLANETARY FORECAST
November 6 - 18, 2016

The following is a snapshot of the energies ahead for the next two weeks.

Follow me on Facebook or Twitter for more insights and planetary news.

Best Days

While there are other days during this time frame that fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

November 9, 10, 15, 17

Best Avoided

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

Nov 8, 12, 13, 16

Nov. 17-18:  Yes, it's in red and for a very good reason. Although this energy is at its strongest on the 18th, its influence begins on the 17th. Challenging energy between Mercury (communications) and Neptune (confusion) warns that you need to be certain you have all the facts before you make decisions, sign on a dotted line, share information or call someone out on something. This energy can promote misunderstanding (or outright deception) and gossip.Think before you speak, and when you do, stay focused, on point and only speak the truth.
SUPER MOON FORECAST

 22°37' Taurus

The Basics

A full moon occurs when the Sun and Moon form a tense astrological aspect known as an opposition. An opposition is created when two planets are at the exact same degree in the opposite zodiac sign (e.g., the Taurus full moon occurs when the Moon is at 22°37' of Taurus and the Sun is at 22°37’ of Scorpio).

As it happens, this full moon is going to be a Super Moon. In fact, it's supposed to be the biggest Super Moon since January 1948 and "...will appear up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than an average full moon."  You can click here to read more about it.

Super moon or not, two keywords for the full moon are confrontation and fruition, which is why this aspect typically coincides with culminations, decisions and endings.

The tense energy (created by the opposition) of the full moon usually forces a decision, so if you're waiting on a decision from someone, or are a at a crossroads or on the fence about something, odds are you won't be waiting long. Although related events can occur as late as 5 days after a full moon, from my experience related events usually occur before the full moon takes place.

In other words, you can expect to experience its influence staring November 9th.

The Big Picture

Calculated for Washington, DC, the most significant aspect to the full moon is a minor aspect called a quincunx that in a mundane chart such as this one suggests a need for adjustment. (In an individual's chart, it often describes something the person finds uncomfortable or awkward and many times it indicates a potential physical or emotional health issue).

In this chart, the Sun is in the 11th house and it's in a quincunx with Uranus (instability) which is located in the 4th house.

Also present is a square (action-producing) from Mercury (communications) in the 12th house (secrets) to Neptune (espionage, deception and fraud) in the 3rd house (communications). What makes this influence even stronger is the fact that Mercury is in the house naturally ruled by Neptune (the 12th), and Neptune is in the house naturally ruled by Mercury (3rd).

In a nation's chart, the 4th house represents the public; the 11th house represents Congress and the Sun represents the President.

To me, it's pretty clear that the aspect to the full moon and the accompanying Mercury-Neptune square reflects what most of us already know: No matter who wins the White House, it's not going to be a smooth transition, and whoever loses will issue statements (Mercury) alleging the influence of some type of fraud, espionage or deception (Neptune).

Getting Personal

Given the energy of this full moon, there's a strong likelihood that many of you may have to make some type of adjustment or accommodation in your life. What type of adjustment? That depends on where this full moon falls in your chart.
And speaking of free mini-lessons, one of the most frustrating things about astrology is knowing that a planet is changing signs or an eclipse is coming but not knowing where it falls in your personal horoscope. While it's true you can gain insight from using a solar (sun-sign based) horoscope, it's no where near as informative as knowing which house its activating in your chart.

While many of you are familiar with your own charts, most of you aren't, and that's why on November 13th you're going to find a very special bonus in your inbox that will include a link to a free resource along with a step-by-step tutorial (with images) that will show you how to identify which house a new moon falls in or which one a transiting planet is visiting in your chart.

And that's not all. You'll also gain access to a FREE MINI-READING that includes Chiron, the asteroids Juno, Vesta, Pallas and Ceres, the North Node and Black Moon Lilith, plus you'll receive a few personal tips from me that will help you be your own astrologer

I originally intended to include it this newsletter but decided it deserves its own issue so you can easily print it out and keep it for future reference.

If you master this skill, the universe will open its doors to you. When it does, step through with confidence knowing that I'll be there to guide you.
Where Does the Taurus Super Moon Fall in Your Chart?

Since a full moon involves the Sun and the Moon, it falls across two houses in the horoscope. The house that holds the Moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to fruition, a crossroads or an endingHowever, while the Moon lights up one house, the Sun lights up the opposite one. Since houses work in pairs, you should consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

Since the Sun is involved in the quincunx, you should look to the house that holds the Sun for clues about where you may need to make a possible adjustment

If you don't know which house holds 22° of Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar chart.

Releasing with the Taurus Full Moon

During the two weeks immediately following the full moon, the moon is waning. As it slowly fades from view in the evening sky, its energy supports the release of circumstances that no longer serve us.

From November 15 - 28 (the new moon is on Nov. 29), you can use the waning energy of the moon to help release unwanted beliefs, traits, relationships, patterns or circumstances from your life.

Although you can release anything under any full moon, one that's saturated in Taurus energy it's especially helpful for letting go of:

Negative beliefs connected to money (including the ability to earn, save and manage it well), personal values, productivity and feelings of self-worth.

Traits such as greed, rigidity, laziness, overindulgence, possessiveness, obstinance, and jealousy.
Consultations Rates

As all of you know, the cost of living has increased substantially during the past few years. Like you, I support myself through my profession, and like many of you, I am my sole source of support. After close to three years without a raise, It's time to give myself one, so on January 21, 2017 there will be a modest increase in my rates.

If you'd like to purchase a consultation at the current rates, you have through January 20, 2017 to do so. If you're an existing client and would like to purchase a session now and bank it for a later date, be assured it will never expire.

I'm often asked about sales and no, I will not be putting any readings on sale. I know this is disappointing to many of you, but unlike retail where you can slash prices and still make a profit, discounting a consultation to make it more affordable for you means that I take a pay cut for doing the same amount of work. It would be like your boss saying that she was paying you 20% less one week because her finances were tight. It doesn't work for me, and I don't believe it would work for you, though even if it did, it still doesn't work for me.

Predictive astrology is a speciality, and for the overwhelming majority of my clients, my consultations are a once-a-year investment that at a minimum provides detailed astrological guidance for the next 12 months (sometimes more). As my clients know, I'm generous with my time and almost every word that comes out of my mouth is about them. They also know that when I say "keep me posted" I mean it, and I don't try to sell them another reading when they update me or contact me with a follow-up question.

At the end of the day, we all spend our money on what we value. You won't find me spending my hard-earned cash on weekly (or even monthly) mani-pedi's but I'll invest it in books and education. A friend of mine is the opposite; she invests about $60 every month at the nail salon and saves up for Botox. Neither one of us is right or wrong; we simply have different values; and when we really value something that's a bit outside our budget, we find the money for it even if it takes a while. I know, because I've done it many times, and I'm in the process of doing it right now.

My astrology consultations are in-depth, and they're not for everyone. Whether or not you ever have a reading with me (or ever have a reading with me again), I appreciate you and your support. That's why you can count on me to continue to deliver free astrological resources, guidance and mini-lessons to your inbox.

Speaking of free resources and mini-lessons ...

Plus, you'll also receive a some personal tips from me that will help you be your own astrologer.

If you're not familiar with your chart, I strongly encourage you to follow the tutorial. In the weeks and months ahead, I'm going to be teaching you about the significance of the personal planets  (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) as they move through your chart. These planets move quickly through the chart, and in order to get the most from these lessons, you're going to want to know where they are in your chart.

And that's not all. You'll also gain access to a FREE MINI-READING that includes Chiron, the asteroids Juno, Vesta, Pallas and Ceres, the North Node and Black Moon Lilith, plus

Finally, if you're interested in learning about the asteroids, click here to watch my friend, colleague and soul sister Marguerite Manning spill some of Juno's secrets on Truth Be Told Radio with Eddie Conner and Tony Sweet.

Remember to check your inbox on November 13th for a special bonus issue that will help you understand your personal horoscope, as well as hook you up with a free mini-reading!
