Subject: i never felt "ready" 📽️

i used to procrastinate like crazy when it came to filming videos...

Friend,

I used to procrastinate like crazy when it came to filming videos.

“Feel the fear, and do it anyway” they said.

Easier said than done, right? 😨

I would keep delaying my “Film YouTube videos” task over and over again. I’d move it to tomorrow, then the next day, then the next week. When I finally brought myself to record, I’d trip up on my words, and would end up deleting the recording and starting over...

It was brutal. I never felt “ready”.

But what I finally learned is this: confidence doesn’t show up before you start. It shows up because you start.

Which means yes — your first video WILL feel awkward. Your second will too. (Honestly, even your 20th! It’s different for everyone...lucky me, it took me over 100 videos to feel more confident!).

Just know that awkward doesn’t mean you’re not ready or that you’re not meant to do this. It just means you’re growing. It means you’re exercising a new muscle that hasn’t been warmed up yet.

In this week’s video, I’m sharing how I got stuck in the endless “getting ready” cycle and what finally pushed me to hit record anyway.

My hope is that, after watching this, you’ll feel a little less alone (it’s supposed to feel messy!) and a little more ready to push past the discomfort...because people need to hear what you have to say.
