EDUCATING FOR TRICKY CONVERSATIONS
Hi Friend,

Can you help us? We would like to hear from child and youth-helping professionals with all levels of understanding and experience in addressing problematic behaviours resulting from p0rn harms.

We currently have three third-year Social Science students from RMIT completing their placement with Youth Wellbeing Project. Their project is to develop the P0rn Harms Toolkit—a Mental Health & Safety Resource for Child and Youth-helping Professionals.

This toolkit will focus on p0rn-related harmful sexual behaviours (addiction and technology-facilitated and/or contact abuse).

We are seeking input from counselling, health-focused or human services roles–those who have never had these conversations, right through to those who regularly address p0rn-related issues with their young clients. Your participation in this survey will assist us to know what you would find beneficial to support your role in child and youth-focused services.

If you work one-on-one with children and young people, we would love you to take a few minutes to help with this initiative. We also invite you to share this survey with your school or community psychologist, counsellor, social worker or chaplain, and connections within NGOs or government departments such as health or child safety.

The result? When completed, we will share the P0rn Harms Toolkit free of charge to schools and child- and youth-focused organisations to help with intervention strategies.

It will only take 5 minutes–in anticipation, thank you!

Till next time, be well and stay inspired.
