Subject: ✩ Brisbane PD in January + 3 key reasons why sexting education is vitally important

Dear Friend,

There’s likely not a school across Australia (and much further afield) that hasn’t had to deal with sexting. Increasingly, Youth Wellbeing Project is asked to provide advice or deliver education to young people about sending or asking for nudes; and consistently, it’s ‘easier’ for schools to address sexting rather than dealing with a primary driver – pornography.

Our latest blog details 3 key reasons why education about sending nudes (child exploitation material) is vitally important.
  • Young people (primarily girls), feel pressured and most don’t want to send or receive sexts
  • Those creating and sharing sexual content online includes children under the age of 10 years old
  • Sextortion is becoming increasingly common, including amongst very young children
We absolutely MUST increase education about this amongst parents and address it within primary school classrooms. To respond to this need, in 2019 Youth Wellbeing Project is releasing COMPASS IQ - Safeguarding Kids from Cultural and Sexual Harms. Click through to learn more.

If you are in Brisbane, be sure to SAVE THE DATES - on the Northside and Southside, you're invited to a full-day workshop on either Thursday 24th or Friday 25th of January. Book now.

And make sure you scroll down to take advantage of our "It's Retiring" promotion - we've had a great response to this offer, so don't miss out.

Till next time, stay inspired.

Relationships & Sexuality Education Resources
Our “Relationship IQ programs” which have totally improved the lives of many young people and made teaching sex ed so much easier for teachers and youth workers, are retiring. Going into the Youth Wellbeing Project archives under tight lock and key to never be revealed again. Because of this, I'm doing a limited Term 4 “It’s Retiring” promotion.

If you’ve wanted to improve your relationships and sexuality education resources by implementing IQ programs and haven't yet done so, there's so much content in this package it's nearly ridiculous.... The Relationship IQ program resources could be just what you need for those spare lessons in the school term when you're desperate to impart final words of wisdom to young people before their summer holidays, or for youth workers over the summer break.

You can, till the end of term 4 2018, purchase $1100 worth of RSE education NOW for the limited time offer of $397. At the end of 2018 it’s gone, archived forever. CLICK HERE to learn what is included. Organisations who purchase now, can receive a $397 discount on the new IQ programs. The "It's Retiring" promotion will not be available after the end of the 2018 schooling year.
