Moroccan Magic Expedition November 05-19, 2019 is open and we are accepting expedition members.
We are very excited because Morocco is a destination often requested by Wheeler Expeditions members. This custom-designed expedition provides a comprehensive experience of all the things that Morocco has to offer.
We used our years of experience and Exploratory team to create this all-inclusive expedition that features what you, our well-traveled members, will enjoy and remember!
Trip Overview: This country-wide active tour is a two week journey that takes you to all the key ancient walled-cities, still vibrant "medinas" with their narrow, winding walkways that lead us to rich, delicious food, music, and unique handicrafts.
Key Questions
What do we see? We'll revel at the most beautiful natural sights along the way. There is an amazing amount of variety in this relatively small country -- from the serene mountains, to the pristine desert, and the sea -- we do it all!
Who are the Moroccans? The people, of Amazigh descent, are warm and welcoming. They want us to have a wonderful experience and we'll get the red-carpet treatment from them all along as they share their ancient culture.
Where do we stay? You get to enjoy luxurious "riads" -- once homes of the wealthy -- now small resorts. We seek out elegant yet rustic hotels in the Atlas mountains, and even enjoy a night of high-end camping in fancy tents (with bathrooms) and a sky full of stars overhead.
Who can do this? This expedition is a cultural and historic expedition so anyone in normal good health can participate. (However, we will have optional hikes and activities for our adventurous group members!)
