Speaking of unusual, this animal is a "takin" -- the national animal of Bhutan, an herbivore in the tundra muskox family. We'll see them at this protected park -- from the walkway above.

I've been to 90 countries now and Bhtuan is particularly fascinating and enjoyable in so many ways. It has maintained a peaceful, Buddhist culture and the people keep so much of their traditions alive -- even their unique clothing.
