Because of this, we've decided to offer a SPECIAL SAVINGS of 500 off for anyone who registers by Friday, April 17th. When you click the button to register - and enter your name -- you'll see a box on the right that says DISCOUNT CODE. Type in 4SPAINSPECIAL to save 500 euro off per person!   If you'd prefer assistance, email Rebel at holiday@wheelerexpeditions.com and she is happy to help do it for you over the phone.

About the expedition...

The lens for this experience focuses on one of Western Civilization’s most heroic achievements – Spain’s triumph of Christianity over foreign conquest that took eight centuries to complete. We will trace one of the most epic sagas in all history, known as the "Reconquista" or Reconquest, from start to finish.

We will meet in charming Barcelona on Oct 9, 2026 to begin. This is where we'll see Roman ruins and historic sites, the remarkable architecture of Gaudi, and more.

On our journey we will see Asturias, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, and Granada. Then we fly back to Barcelona for flights homeward.

As we explore, we'll savor the delicious Spanish food and wine, marvel at the history, extraordinary cathedrals, art, music, flamenco, and more as we immerse ourselves into this world of Spain.
