You haven't heard from me lately since we've been "On the Road Again..."   After a fabulous birthing safari in the South Serengeti  with a group of 12 wonderful new friends, we showed them not only many dozens of animals, but introduced them to three tribes -- with whom we had memorable experiences.  Imagine you have no home. You're living on the land eating roots and hunting until you find game for "dinner" - sleeping in a bush for a few days to finish eating it, then back to roaming. It's the way our ancient ancestors lived. We spent time with these people and they are very sweet... and very strong.

June 2-13, we have a few spaces left on our extraordinary Mongolia Expedition.   We'll explore much of it by charter planes and then be met by jeeps to special sites and to meet both Kazakh and Mongol nomads who retain their way of life... which is fading... yet may not be possible in the not-so-distant future.) This is a unique and worldclass experience. 

You can enjoy much-loved Portugal either May 2-11 or October 3-12. Seriously, if you were only going to visit one European country, Portugal is an excellent choice. It has everything -- from beautiful scenery to centuries of history, rich culture, kind people, and great food and wine along the way.

You can jump in for Atlantic Paradises September 19 to 27  to explore the Portuguese Islands of Madeira and three of the Azores Islands -- great places for fun and relaxing with whale watching, swimming with dolphins, tropical gardens, breathtaking scenery...all with lovely places to stay and dine.

You can discover the Splendours of Scotland, is October 5-14, led by our partner, Eddy Downpatrick, who's lived there for a number of years and knows it personally. One of the most spectacular aspects of this expedition are the boats out to the gorgeous and pristine islands, such as the Isle of Skye.

Then, there's Himalaya Helicopter October 25-Nov 1, another favorite. Imagine soaring through the highest mountains in the Nepal Himalayas. Again, everyone adores this safe yet thrilling experience. The cultural side is to the remote Kingdom of Lo with cave monasteries and much more.
