Happy New Year! We have a brand new expedition that is to a much-requested destination: Mongolia. I've done it twice the long, slow way and it takes a month to see what we can now show you in 12 days!
Here's a photo from when I took our son, Jackson, age 10 and now he's 34. We spent nearly a month exploring Mongolia. It is a vast, stunning land of mostly nomadic peoples who are very friendly and welcome us.
We get to see their lifestyle and land, which is still mostly untouched. Today, there are more accommodations for Westerners, yet most people stay in the capital, Ulaan Batur -- sure, we'll see that and then we get out to see it all!

| | | This is a ger camp (gers are like yerts) -- we stay nearby in a fancier version...

Then,
with our guide, we can meet them and see how they live on the land,
hunt, and make friends. This man will show us how he hunts with his
eagle.

| | | | | | Then March 28 to April 9, we will be showing our guests for one of the most exotic countries in the world: The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. This is the Tiger’s Nest, the Taktsang Monastery, below.
Bhutan is a magic place and famous for their "National Happiness Index." It is entirely unique. From it's festivals, traditions, culture, religion, and more, there is no place like it on earth.

only by trekking or 4WD track, as we will. There's so, so much more.

So many of you have enjoyed our Portugal Exploration over the years, so we will offer this wonderful experience this year -- May 2 - 11, 2025. Seriously, everyone loves Portugal.
