Fascinating Challenges
"Confidence: The feeling you have before you fully understand the situation."

Taken altogether, it has been both an incredibly fruitful and incredibly challenging 18 months in the life of Wise Cosmos Educational Initiative!  It is a common human experience that the greatest challenges arise during the greatest quests.  All of us involved in the Wise Cosmos adventure have been experiencing our fair share of complications and difficulties throughout this period.
Technology

We have experienced a number of growing pains, technical challenges, and even a few catastrophes. We are moving from amateur toward professional quality video production for an online educational platform that provides uniquely transformational content to a worldwide, multicultural, multilingual audience. This has required us to step-by-step upgrade the quality and expand the quantity of almost all our technology: video and audio recording and editing equipment, computers, hard drives, data management and storage systems, and software. The learning curves and financial costs have been steep and time-consuming.
Health & Family

Almost every core team member -- Lelan, Jodi, Brenden, Brian, Molly, Alice, John, Jeff, Jessica, Mary, and several of our most committed volunteers -- has experienced an astonishing series of health issues and/or family crises over the past 18 months. These life realities can sometimes be nearly all-consuming, and also have first priority for our time and energy. What has been incredibly intriguing is observing the similarities, synchronicities, and sequences of these various difficulties among our team members. Our relationships with one another have become deeper and stronger as we encourage and support each other through each experience.
Soul / Spiritual

All of us involved in the Wise Cosmos adventure feel that we are engaged in a soul / spiritual endeavor at least as much -- if not more so -- than a technological enterprise. We endeavor to infuse all our work with aesthetic and artistic elements, and to partner with Spirit in and through the technologies we utilize. We consciously strive to be and become our best and highest selves in the midst of every relationship and responsibility. Consequently, every apparent obstacle, hindrance, and setback becomes for us an invitation to wake up, pay attention, and do our inner work -- individually and in partnership with each other.
Looking ahead to the remainder of 2019, our commitment remains steadfast and our energy is high to complete all these video editing and website development projects.

We are very grateful for the encouraging emails and financial support so many of you have extended to us during this period. Your continuing support means so very much.  Thank you!

On behalf of the entire Wise Cosmos team,
Warm regards,
