(1) Nearly half of the video recording of Session 07 was partially corrupted, which is a primary reason for the delay in making it available. Happily, it appears we will be successful in recovering and presenting the entire session to you very soon.
(2) Additional Session 07 handouts were uploaded last week, which you may want to review and work with in preparation for watching the video.
(3) The first round of Session 08 handouts are now available for download. These handouts provide an overview of what was covered in class, but also dive deep into the topics and themes introduced. Even if you did not participate live, the handouts by themselves provide rich opportunities with which to work.

| | A Video Recommendation
Last night at the online Front Range Anthroposophical Café, Andrew Linnell presented on the topic “Dealing with Our Ahrimanic Double and Its Future”. I invite and even encourage each of you to watch this presentation.

| | Why? The importance of the spiritual developmental work that many of you are doing with Christ will take on greater nuance and significance if you contextualize it with a broader understanding of the activity of, and our relationships with, Lucifer and Ahriman.
What I just wrote was communicated to me by Spirit as a message for those of you participating in the Lord’s Prayer course. I received it while preparing for Session 01, and it has been a repeated indication every week. However, I haven’t sensed that the timing was right to bring this topic to your attention . . . until I watched Andrew’s presentation last night. I believe that most or all of you would benefit from watching the video.
What Andrew shares may be new to many of you, so I would like to personally affirm that most of what Andrew shares has some connection to Rudolf Steiner’s teaching, as well as to spiritual realities I have experienced and worked with. That said, I am not currently in complete agreement with some of Andrew’s specific articulations, interpretations, and hypotheses. I am not saying they are wrong, only that I don’t yet have independent verification for everything he says, and in some cases I have different interpretations and hypotheses based upon my own research and experience. The point, of course, is that you will need to do your own research and have your own experiences in order to arrive at your own interpretations and hypotheses. It is important that you do this work.
Finally, I would like to offer the following reflection by Rev. Gisela Wielki. It touches upon both what we have been talking about in the Lord’s Prayer course (especially sessions 07 and 08), as well as what Andrew Linnell presents in the video referenced above.

| Unmasked Self
In the ‘Garden of Eden’ we put on our first mask. And an all-seeing, all-knowing God had to ask: ‘Adam, where are you?’ or: ‘Adam, who are you?’ God no longer recognized in us his own image. Masked and disguised human beings have since walked the earth.
At the moment, life circumstances ask of us to put on a mask in public. It is a material mask, a medical mask. It is meant to protect us from each other. Probably all of us wish it were already over. But while we are settled with this disagreeable chore, it may be a good time to acknowledge the other masks we wear and often without any awareness.
The word person or personality derives from Latin and means "mask" or "role". It also means to "sound through". Who is aware of all that sounds through them, and who it is who speaks through them?
Role playing is something everyone is familiar with. We do a lot of it, mostly totally unconsciously. ‘All the world’s a stage’ is a well-known saying. The masks and make up come off only when we are backstage. So, to make good use of the present adverse situation, one could choose to turn the floodlights in that direction. What do we look like backstage?
Truth is ultimately the only way to become free of the mask. It is the ultimate deliverance, the delivery of the unmasked self, the true self. But the labor pain is usually extensive and drawn out. One lifetime is unlikely enough.

| Accessing the Video Recordings
2. Click on DASHBOARD in the upper-left hand corner. If on mobile, open the menu by clicking on the three-line icon in the upper-right hand corner. Click on DASHBOARD.
3. If necessary, login using the same email and password you created when you registered.
4. You will be taken to your account Dashboard which shows every course for which you are registered.
5. Clicking on The Lord's Prayer picture will take you to the watch page.
6. When the video is available for viewing, the title will become red text. Click on the red text to view the session video. |
