Every December we enter the seasons of Advent, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Mawlid al-Nabi, Winter Solstice, and Zartosht no-diso. In every tradition this period of time invites us to remember and celebrate the most important and transformative gifts we have received during the past year and throughout our lifetimes.
This season also prompts us to both "look ahead" and "pay it forward", to become the best possible gift-givers.
