Subject: Reserve Your "Stop Winter Park Tax Increases" Yard Signage

Fellow Winter Park Residents,

Please share with friends and neighbors.

The Winter Park City Commission will vote on the tentative 2026 property tax rate on July 23rd. If they do not increase the rate at that time, it is very cumbersome (and unlikely) for them to increase it prior to the rate becoming final in September.

If they increase the rate on July 23rd, they can always reduce it at the time of the final vote in September. Commissioners Sullivan and Russell have publicly supported a tax rate increase. They only need one more vote.

I am taking reservations now for "Stop Winter Park Tax Increases" yard signs in the event the commission increases the property tax rate on July 23rd. The more signs that are reserved, the louder the message to our commission NOT to increase the rate on July 23rd.

Should they raise the rate, I will pay for the signs and volunteers will place them at your address to convince the commission to reverse such a decision in September.
