Happy Father’s Day D.A.D.s (Darn Amazing Dudes) This month celebrates the dads out there. Some may call them: the man, the myth, or the legend, whatever you call them, we got the wine for you. We are featuring big bold reds and nice creamy whites, cheers to Dad!

Bellone Bianco, a grape variety cited by Pliny the Elder and present in the Latium region since ancient Roman times.
This wine evokes sunshine and ripe tropical fruit such as mango and papaya, carefully balanced by a marked acidity which makes it suitable for long bottle aging. Rich, ample and lingering on the palate with light floral and spicy notes. Hallmarked by its pronounced acidity and zesty tang. A long finish.

7301 Blaufränkisch comes from Deutschkreutzer vineyards and was partly aged in large oak barrels and partly in used barriques. It combines the classic Blaufränkisch herbal pepper seasoning with the soft, round charm of barrique-ripened wine.
Dark cherries, fine herbs in the nose, fine nougat, juicy and creamy on the palate and in the finish a long, fruity finish with exceptional drinking flow delight the senses of proven wine connoisseurs as well as those of the connoisseur.

A wine from two communes: an acre in Savigny-les-Beaune’s Les Perrières lieu-dit planted in 1991; and two acres in Meursault (in Herbeux and Malpoirier), where the vines average 40 years of age. These mature vines coupled with the pedigree of the terroirs make for a Bourgogne Blanc with intensity and substance, one punching well above its weight. Elevage takes place in older barrels for twelve months, followed by four in steel.
Powerful and rich yet crisp! On the nose the wine offers up roasted hazelnuts, bright apple, zesty lime, and just a touch of wood spice. Complex fruit flavors and notes of earth and minerals with apple and lemon flavors.

Grapes are sorted de-stemmed, and re-sorted. Whole Berries are cold soaked for ten days, with native wild yeast taking over the primary fermentation. Three weeks of extended maceration, with gentle punch-downs to preserve flavors and aromatics. Aged for 18 months in French oak.
Richly layered with intense blackberry, walnut, Dark chocolate, leather. And Rose Hips. Rich and mouth filling, ending on a velvety finish.

 June Cheese & Charcuterie Club!

This month Cheese Club members will enjoy a gold medal winning cheddar cheese of Bellavitano Gold. This artisan cheese is homage to traditional Italian farmstead style. Pairs well with a nice bold red to help cut the award winning creaminess. Olli Salumeria Calabrese is just the kick you needed. Zesty and packed with flavor but not too overpowering. Enjoy on its own or with big juicy red to balance well with the spice. 
Bellavitano Gold
A Sartori-family original. This rich, creamy cheese with its nutty, fruity flavor is also - in all modesty - a celebrated gold-medal winner. Inspired by traditional, Italian farmstead cheese, BellaVitano Gold begins in the mouth like a premium Parmesan and finishes in award-winning style with hints of melted butter. This is where there artisan cheesemaking first began to shine. Pairs well with any full-bodied wine that will help cut the creaminess of the cheese!

Olli Salumeria Salami - Calabrese
Olli Salumeria makes artisanal slow-cured fine meats based on old family recipes handed down over four generations. This spicy Calabrese gets it kick from cayenne pepper and paprika, making it zesty but not overpowering. Calabria is a region in Italy known for its spicy food where the salami gets its name.
Enjoy on its own or pair well with the Bellavitano Gold or also Gouda cheese that will stand up to the spice from the Salami.
