Classico Club

Vermentino di Gallura 2015
Gallura Pirus, Italy

The Cantina Sociale Gallura is located in the town of Tempio Pausania on the foothills of Mount Limbara. This cooperative was founded in 1956 and it currently has 160 producers contributing their grapes. The total area of planted vineyards is about 600 acres. The soil, a mix of sand and rock, is poor, and the vines have to struggle to survive this hostile environment. The limited grape yield offers unique and prized qualities. Most of the properties are planted with Vermentino, Nebbiolo and Moscato varietals.
Nose: Intense, fruity, flowery, ample and lingering. Palate: Dry, balanced, fresh, long pleasant finish on the palate, fine, with fruity notes.

Vignoble Réveille
Franc Tireur, 2015
Cotes-Catalanes, Roussillon, France

100% Carginan. This young wine attributes it’s complex and unique flavors to the soil of the noted Roussillon area in the South of France. With winds and soil coming from the French mainland and Mediterranean sea, you’ll find this wine to be ever changing with minerality and it’s fruit forwardness. This amalgamation of intensity and fine tannins make this the perfect go-to for anyone trying to discover a great French wine with personality. Lots of black cherry, raspberry, red currant notes with tinges of spice & mineral. *Organic

Riserva Club

   Raventos i Blanc Extrem
Xarel·lo 2015
    Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

The Raventos family has been perfecting their craft ever since 1497 and this wine is truly a testament to their work. With the wines reduced sulfites and prominent minerality, this becomes the perfect clean and crisp wine that still holds a unique characteristic that can only be found in Catalonia. This 2015 vintage in particular-with the hot & damp Autumn and frosty & cold Winter-secured this Xarel·lo’s spot as one of the region's strongest competitors and adaptors. Apricot, peach, white flowers, fennel & bay leaf notes. Unfiltered, unrefined w/minimal sulfur. Very fine & complex.  Voted “Excellent” by Guia Penin, Spain’s most famous wine guide. *Organic

Marchese Adorno Rile Nero, 2014
Pinot Noir
Lombardy, Italy

Pomegranates, black currants and vanilla are the name of the game for this elegant Pinot. The wine’s wide and all-encompassing taste is astoundingly supple and unforgettable. Rich with aromatic notes of tobacco and liquorice make the Rile Niero all the more unique. The Adorno family has been a staple in the region with wine making and can now be found making top quality clones if international varietals on their pristine sloping acres.Organically farmed.

August Cheese & Charcuterie Club!

This month is about delicious Mediterranean flavors! Featuring a black pepper Fulvi Rustico Pepe Nero pecorino, enjoy it in slivers, shave it or melt it onto whatever your heart desires and best of all, we like it on our toasted baguette with slices of Alle Pia Cacciatorino salami- your charcuterie for this month!
Fulvi Rustico Pecorino
Lazio, Italy

This creamy, semisoft sheep’s milk cheese hails from the countryside of Rome. Also known as a young pepato thanks to the addition of whole black peppercorns, the cheese strikes the perfect balance between cheese and pepper.

Alle Pia Cacciatorino
San Louis Obispo, CA

This salami's fresh flavor comes from juniper berries and Chianti wine from Italy. It has a lighter taste than the other varieties.
Salami Cacciatore translates into "hunter's salami." It got this name because it is formed into small pieces about six or seven inches long, making them a simple and portable snack easily carried in a hunter's shoulder bag. Aromatic juniper berries impart a clear, refreshing flavor.
No artificial nitrates or nitrates only naturally occurring preservatives found in swiss chard.. Alle Pia’s fresh, natural pork comes from a producer that guarantees vegetarian fed, crate free animals. No hormones or antibiotics are used. Only the finest spices used from a local supplier, Spice of Life and imported Italian paprika.

Be sure to enjoy with your warm, crisp Barsha Baguette!
