Welcome to 2018!

I write those words remembering a time not so long ago when the year 2020 seemed like such a far off event I could not process what life would be like.  Certain life planning events for me personally revolved around the year 2020 and the distance made consideration not plausible.

It is becoming much more plausible and with the reality comes a new set of life considerations.  Personal resolutions of things that I could always do later.  Well later is here and it is time to get serious!

If you are under 40 this all probably sounds like nonsense.  I remember those feelings.  Your 2040 will be here before you know it.  We can control a lot of things but with certainty the calendar turns like clockwork.

Landlord Resolutions

Most of you receive this newletter because you own rental properties or you aspire to own rentals.  In a review of our business last month, I started to jot down the obvious.  Very simple lessons learned through the last year from existing situations our business was invited into when the landlord had become very frustrated.

Most of you are not full time investors so it is certainly understandable that your real life distracts from your landlord one.  In 2017, there have been consistent themes that turn into lessons for landlords.  I have consolidated these lessons into a post for all of your enjoyment.

I promise it is a simple, easy, read as you recover from the inevitable turn of the calendar!
   Happy 2018!!

Can You Help Please?
This will only take a minute but will be so appreciated!

Reviews of businesses on social media matter.  Our business serves you, the investor, and sometimes your interests do not match your tenants.  Social media reviews are an equal access opportunity.  Tenants love to write reviews and that can translate into poor reviews for property managers.

If you appreciate what WILMOTH does for you, we would most certainly be very gracious to receive your 5-star review on Google.  It will take you 30 seconds to help us offset some poor tenant comments that are hurting our rating.

Here is how to get started.  Use your Google account and visit us by clicking the button below.  If you are not sure how to add a rating or review, read here  the instructions from Google.

From all of us at WILMOTH Group- we say a big collective THANKS!!
Lease Enforcement

We occasionally have to place tenants in our “Behavior Modification” program. This program places a great or good tenant on notice of their lease violation and provides a chance to fix the problem. Bad tenants do not qualify for this program. Learn More.
