New Systems Being Implemented

After years of using a combination of systems, we are deep into a 4-6 month project of implementing a new process, communication, and contact platform at WILMOTH Group.  Without boring you in all the details, we strongly believe this new system will allow us to improve and continue growing.  As we continue to roll it out among our departments, you may see something new, and heaven forbid, something you are not happy about. 

We are doing our best to catch all of the possible ways this dynamic platform could cause a problem.  Unfortunately, there was a communication problem this week where in one message we had a setting incorrect and several parties received the message that should not have been included.   The problem was immediately fixed and we apologize to all. 

We plan that issues like this will be very limited.  These changes will be a huge improvement but we know there may be some pain points along the way.  One happened, and we are sorry.  Please know we always have your best interests first in all we do.

Attention Rental Owners - The Security Deposit is Not Rent!
By definition, the security deposit is not rent.  

When a tenant is unable to afford rent, they may ask you to use the security deposit. On the surface, the request is reasonable—especially in the final month of tenancy (if the property was well kept). Unfortunately, using the security deposit as rent isn’t in your best interest. There are several factors to consider before accepting the security deposit as rent.
