This month, as we prepare to bring "good fire" back to the land, and begin tackling some of our large invasive plant populations, we offer a poem of gratitude for our valued stewardship work-traders, with whom these task would be staggering!
In valleys deep, where hills rise, A call to caretakers, beneath open skies, With hearts ablaze, and spirits free, We gather here, in harmony.
In shared endeavor, our souls align, As we nurture earth, with love divine.
And when the day is done, and shadows fall, We seek solace, in nature's hall, In steaming springs, our bodies mend, In kinship embrace, our journey transcends.
