Subject: This Work Matters Now More Than Ever

Dear Friend,

In Myanmar, families living in extreme poverty are facing new and growing pressures.

Severe high inflation due to economic collapse, currency depreciation, and conflict is making it harder for people to afford food, tools, and supplies needed to run small businesses. The significant rise of fuel prices have also required people to drive on alternate days with limited fuel rations. Farmers are coping with droughts, floods, and unpredictable seasons. And in many places, international aid programs that once supported vulnerable communities are being reduced or halted altogether.

For families already living on the margins, these changes can be devastating. But sustainable solutions that build resilience and dignity can make a lasting difference.

Through Five Talents, local churches are helping neighbors form Savings Groups, learn business skills, and support one another through challenges. These groups provide practical tools, community, and Christ-centered hope that helps individuals build resilience and lasting change.

People aren’t looking for short-term relief. They are eager for the opportunity to work, save, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. And your generosity helps make that possible.

Right now, every gift donated will be matched dollar for dollar until April 30, helping us reach our $40,000 spring goal.

Thank you for helping create pathways toward financial stability and flourishing of mind, body, and spirit.

With gratitude,

Five Talents
