Recently, Five Talents staff members met a remarkable young man named Michael in Karamoja, Uganda. His story is one of resilience, responsibility, and unwavering faith—and we want to share it with you, because your support helps make stories like his possible.

Michael lost both of his parents 10 years ago. Life since then has been incredibly difficult for him and his six siblings. With no extended family able to care for them, the older children had to leave home in search of work. Michael, still a young man himself, chose to stay behind to care for his younger siblings—shouldering the full weight of their daily needs and school expenses.

And all the while, Michael has remained grounded in his faith—recently being baptized at his local church.
