Why Malawi? Because Five Talents goes where our programs are most needed. Located in East Africa’s Great Lakes region, Malawi is home to more than 21 million people and is one of the world’s lowest-income countries. According to the CIA World Factbook, 70% of Malawians live below the international poverty line.

Our Malawi church program partner, located in the southeast region of the country, is eager to launch Savings Groups for their communities. They believe this ministry can transform the lives of the most marginalized and vulnerable in the region.

With your help, participants will access training and mentorship that will improve literacy and business skills, provide families with diversified income sources and healthier food, and most importantly, inspire women and men with new hope and confidence in God’s goodness.
