It’s been an exciting month here at Five Talents, and amid a time of continued uncertainty and shifting landscapes for international NGOs, we are deeply grateful to be experiencing such a full and active season. The engagement and enthusiasm from our community have been truly energizing, and we’re excited to share some recent and upcoming events that reflect this momentum.

Five Talents International Board Retreat

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting colleagues and Board members from Five Talents Kenya and Five Talents UK for an in-person Five Talents International Board retreat. It was a special time to come together as a team to strategize, celebrate the work God is doing through our ministry, and have fun sightseeing together in Washington, D.C. We are grateful for our colleagues across all three of our country offices and for the time we got to spend in community with one another last week.

Five Talents Kenya CEO Speaks at Vienna Presbyterian Church

Following the Board retreat, Five Talents Kenya CEO Peter Mugendi visited Vienna Presbyterian Church — one of our church partners in Vienna, VA — to share how their faithful stewardship is helping empower women and men in Kenya and elsewhere around the world. He concluded with this powerful Biblical truth from Hebrews 6:10; God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
