Hey... It's Sherimane,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on what's been happening over the summer with me, and to let you know that I haven't slipped into the abyss! It's been hectic but I love it.

Summer is Event time...

I love doing events because it's the best way for me to share my desserts, make new friends and engage with other vegans.

In May I was at the Baltimore VegFest which was a blast. So many folks turned out to support the vendors. It was incredible. Despite the rain, people waited patiently in line and we sold out before the day ended.

Last month, I was in Rehoboth Beach for their VegFest. The people in Rehoboth Beach are spectacular. They really make us feel welcome. It gave me a chance to reconnect with friends and fans I've met over the years. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had lots of fun.

Clark Park Music & Arts Festival
I participated in the Clark Park Music and Arts Festival July 15th. This was a last minute decision and I'm super glad I decided to go. 

The Clark Park Farmers Market is where I began vending my desserts when I arrived in Philadelphia. I was there every Saturday. Just being in the park and looking across Chester Avenue at the market brought back loads of memories. We had a great time vending while listening to live music all day.

Podcast Coming Soon...

The mission of NSD is to share the health and welfare benefits of a plant-based diet, free of GMO's and other artificial ingredients. And to help folks who are transitioning to veganism by providing tips, recipes, and advice that's easy to access.

My team suggested that I do a podcast and after thinking about it, I agreed. Right now I'm in the early development stages, lining up guests, designing the format, getting all the tech stuff in place. I'll keep you posted on the development as things fall into place.

Bakery Opening Soon...

Yup, we're in negotiations regarding a Philadelphia location. That's about all I can say for now. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
New Desserts...

I've been experimenting in the kitchen with all new desserts to delight your sweet-tooth. I'll be releasing them in the online bakery soon. Don't worry, I'll still be offering fan favorites - Brownies, Blondies, Coconut Tres Leches cupcakes and my assortment of muffins. But I like to experiment with new flavors and combinations of spices.

Well, this has been a really long email, but I just wanted to let you know what's been happening and tell you how important you are to me.
