ANNOUNCEMENTS

TIBETAN BUDDHIST MEDITATION COURSE AT WAYFARERS

Following on her very well received talk at Wayfarers last month, Buddhist nun Lama Yeshe Palmo (aka Peggy Turco) will be teaching a course covering traditional Tibetan Buddhist meditation methods. Called “Shinay” (or calm abiding in English), classes will provide techniques and offer tools to support “letting go” and finding natural peace of mind. This will be a six-week series taught in Wayfarers Rosemary’s Chapel on Tuesdays from 3:30 till 4:30 beginning October 6 thru November 3. Each Tuesday class will build on the next, include time for questions and support individual spiritual practice and community. A student commitment of daily 10-minute practice is required by Lama Yeshe Palmo and donations to the teacher are recommended based on value of the teaching and course materials. If you are interested in this course or have questions please contact Board member Marie Dunkle via text or call at (770) 335-0967.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Mark Frank was our host and we welcomed a new musician, Lee J Howard who shared some incredible jazz piano with us. (Note the name correction from last week's newsletter) Karen Semmelman shared her message "Dancing With the Devine" and involved everyone in the experience. Past Sunday Talks can be found here.
