Nov 10-16, 2025

THIS WEEK

MEDITATION GROUP (Mondays at 5 PM)

Next week's meditation (Nov. 16) is a guided meditation on our own birth and death, and knowing that one has to die, allows one to value life, and to be thrilled to be alive — a meditation on compassion for ourselves and our messy lives and the wonderfulness that life allows us to do and enjoy.

The meditation practice group is open to all experience levels; please join us! The group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

WRITERS GROUP (Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM)

The Wayfarers Writers Group is the perfect environment to be inspired and hone your writing skills. All genres, all experience levels welcome. The group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

SERVICE (Sunday, November 16 at 10 AM)

This Sunday is the music of Crowe Capps and the message, The Heart's Compost: Transforming the Unlived Life, by Martha Wooding-Young.

Refreshments and visiting with other Wayfarers immediately after service.

NEXT WEEK - REIKI

REIKI (Wednesday, November 19 from 4-6 PM)

Reiki is a wonderful opportunity for release and healing. Experienced practitioners are available to assist you. Everyone welcome!

LAST SUNDAY

Music last week was by John Howarth and Marie Dunkle. Rev. Dr. Kate Greysen's message, Shine Your Light: The Power of Gratitude, will be available online next week.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

I will not die an unlived life
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.

— Dawna Markova, From "I Will Not Die an Unlived Life"
