SERVICE - Sunday, July 13 (10 AM)

This Sunday is music by Beth Loveland and then Rev. Dr. Kate Greysen looks at our most basic means of support and abundance in her talk "What's in your Spiritual Bank Account?"


CONCERT ON THE DECK - Sunday, July 13 (2 PM)

Young Bloods & Gray Beards

Young Bloods & Gray Beards is an afternoon of original music by songwriters Jamie Rasso, Diana Nouveau, Dave Stewart, Marie Dunkle, and David Lloyd.

This Deck Concert is free and open to everyone. Donations to support the musicians are recommended.


MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays at 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.


WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Writers Group is a wonderful opportunity to experience the creativity of others as well as hone your writing skills and get feedback on your work in an encouraging, supportive environment. The group meets weekly in RoseMary's Chapel.

COMING SOON

REIKI - Wednesday, July 16, (4-6 PM)

“Reiki” means ‘Universal Life Energy’ in Japanese. This system promotes balance, harmony, and well-being and offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support.


Experienced practitioners will offer sessions in the chapel Wednesday, July 16 from 4-6 PM. Sessions are free. Donations to support the chapel are accepted.


SOUND BATH - Wednesday, July 23 (6-7:30 PM)

A Sound Bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are

"bathed" in sound waves. Instruments such as singing bowls, percussion,

voice, and chimes produce sounds that resonate overtones that may be felt in body, mind, and spirit. The sound bath creates harmony by using sound to clear the participants' energy fields. Benefits include relaxation, an increased sense of well-being, expanded awareness, and release --allowing the brain to let go. The best part is, you don't have to do anything but show up in comfortable clothing and receive the sounds around you while lying peacefully.


Marie Dunkle will lead the Sound Bath along with Ruth Henry. Both Marie

and Ruth have worked with sound therapy instruments for many years to

facilitate meditation and healing for others. There is no charge, but please reserve your space with a RSVP text to Marie at 770-335-0967. Love offerings are welcome.

LAST WEEK

 

We enjoyed the music of John Howarth and Marie Dunkle and message by Rev. Becky Whitehead. (Our webmaster is still travelling, so it will be a week or so before Becky's talk is available online.)


After the service we enjoyed Potluck dinner together, and then in the evening, folks gathered for another Drum Circle adventure.
