Wayfarers Newsletter

Feb 23 - Mar 1, 2026

THIS WEEK

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - Mar 1)

This is a "Discussion Sunday" and our topic is "Wabi Sabi" - the philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity. Our music is by Lisa Ezzard and friends.

POTLUCK DINNER (March 1st)

The first Sunday of the month means good food and fellowship with friends immediately following the service. Bring your favorite dish - and maybe a card with dish name/contents so folks can make healthy choices - and we'll see you soon!

COMING SOON

MEDITATION GROUP (5 PM - March 2)

The meditation group meets in RoseMary's Chapel, and is appropriate for all experience levels. Please arrive quietly in preparation.

WRITERS GROUP (5 PM - March 3)

The writers group is the perfect environment in which to be inspired and hone your writing skills. All genres and all experience levels welcome. The group meets in RoseMary's Chapel.

DRUMMING (6-8 PM - March 8)

It's almost time. Mark your calendars and tell your friends! -- Whether you enjoy beating a drum, shaking a tambourine, or just tapping your feet, the drumming circle is an evening of fun. If you have a drum or other percussion instrument, bring it along. If you don't, we have plenty to share. Everyone welcome. No experience necessary.

LAST SUNDAY

We enjoyed the music of Sweet Chairity with a little assist from Ruth Henry, and then Dr. Katie Davis shared the message More About LIGHT ... and Other Tools.

All message and music videos are now up-to-date and available on our Sunday Talks page.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“We come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.”
