REIKI

Wednesday, April 17th, from 4-6 PM

If you or a friend are seeking greater peace and well-being, join us Wednesday, April 17th from 4-6 PM in the main chapel for a brief yet highly relaxing session with one of our Reiki practitioners.

WRITERS GROUP SPECIAL READING

Friday, April 19th from 7-9 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group is an incredible group of writers - each one with an independent and important voice for our community. During this event, 12 writers will be presenting 2-3 of their works. We will take a 15-minute break 45 minutes into the event and the last 15 minutes of the evening will be devoted to sharing refreshments provided by the writers.

This is an amazing opportunity to hear the voices of artists in your community. There is no charge for the event; however, the Writers Group does encourage generous donations to Wayfarers' Chapel for the use of the fine space for weekly meetings and quarterly readings!

SPECIAL EARTH DAY SERVICE

WITH

BUTTERFLY RELEASE

Sunday, April 21st at 10 AM

April 21st is Wayfarers' Earth Day Experience. The day will have a special service led by Jennifer Utley focusing on our relationship with our lovely planet and conclude with our annual Butterfly Release. Come celebrate together!

DRUM CIRCLE

Sunday, April 21st, 6-8 PM

Ready for an adventure?! Come join the Drum Circle at Wayfarers Chapel on Sunday, April 21st from 6-8 PM in the main chapel. This is a great opportunity to experience the power of shared rhythm while still moving to the beat of your own drum! If you have a drum, bring it. If not, no worries, we have plenty of drums and other rhythm instruments to go around. No rhythm? No worries - it's in there! And we'll help you find it!!!! See you Sunday.

LAST WEEK

Sunday, April 14th, we enjoyed piano pieces by Anne Hartupee and communal singing with Anne and Katharine Brown.

In Ruth Henry's message "Friends - Quakers, that is," we explored just what it means to be a "Friend" (Quaker), the strong similarities between Wayfarers and Friends, and the distinctly Quaker use of extended silence in worship and Clearness Committees to assist and support individuals and the community.

Ruth's message will be available Wednesday.
