THIS WEEK

SATURDAY - MAY 3

WORLD LABYRINTH DAY

Be part of something extraordinary! Saturday, May 3rd, is World Labyrinth Day -- a day of connection, reflection, and global harmony -- and is celebrated with the world-wide event "Walk as One at 1." Wayfarers Chapel invites you to come and learn about the purpose and power of labyrinths and labyrinth walking as you enjoy good food and friends and then experience a powerful, synchronized walking meditation for world peace as we walk the labyrinth. The event is free and all are welcome.

NOON

We begin the celebration with learning about labyrinths and labyrinth walking as we share conversation, music, and good food (tamales and tres leches cake).

1 PM

With a focus on peace, we begin walking the labyrinth, joining others around the world to create a rolling wave of peaceful intention across the planet.

SUNDAY ACTIVITIES - MAY 4

SERVICE - 10 AM

Music and message are combined this week as Rev. "Faire" Elaine Silver presents "Spiritual Economics Through Song" based on Eric Butterworth's book Spiritual Economics.

POTLUCK DINNER - 11 AM

Bring your favorite sharable dish and join in the fun of our 1st Sunday Potluck - an adventure of great food and fellowship. It's always helpful if you would bring a card with dish name and basic ingredients to help those with sensitivities make healthy choices.

WEEKLY OFFERINGS

MEDITATION GROUP - Mondays at 5 PM

Experienced meditation leaders guide us weekly, introducing forms and approaches to support, build, and deepen meditation practice. Sessions are held in the peaceful setting of our Rosemary's Chapel building, are open to the public, and no experience is necessary.

WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays from 5-6:30 PM

The Writers Group is a wonderful opportunity to experience the creativity of others as well as hone your writing skills and get feedback on your work in an encouraging, supportive environment. The group meets weekly in RoseMary's Chapel.

LAST WEEK

Keith Vickers shared nature's music via bird songs and Jen Utley facilitated our discussion, "Harmonizing with the World."

Later in the afternoon, it was a full house as Roberto Obregon kicked off our Summer Concert Series with his Latin jazz. Marie Dunkle joined Roberto for a few numbers.
