This year Quiet Waters Park
(954-357-5100) will host Barktoberfest as the K9 Splash Adventure event, October 6 and 7. Activities run from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. and include doggie splash time, rescue and nonprofit groups, adoptions, Doggie Market Place, kiddie bounce houses, face painting, and costume contest.
Admission is free, although some activities may entail nominal fees, and there is a $5/dog fee for 50-minute sessions in the water (Only dogs weighing 25 pounds or less will be permitted for the first session, starting at 8 am)

Trick-or-Treat WITH the Animals

Do you have children? Grandchildren? Do you know any kids? Well then spread the word for the first-ever trick or treat fundraiser on Friday, October 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Humane Society of Broward County.
Children will be asked to dress in friendly costumes (as to not scare the animals, no masks please) and purchase treats to pass out to the animals. They also will be invited to participate in our mini-fair upstairs with games, prizes, candy, pumpkin patch photos, costume contest and more!
No RSVP necessary. Treats and goodies available for purchase.
This is a fundraiser for the Spirit Walk for Animals, 2019.
