About VPOST is seeking members for our Quality Standards Assessment Tool review committee. Members of the committee will be rewarded with a $50 gift card for sharing their perspectives. VPOST has drafted the language for a program quality assessment tool to walk programs through the Quality Standards for Virginia Out-of-School Time Programs. We want to ensure that the tool will be user-friendly and valuable to programs. Therefore, we need your feedback!
Who should join? We are looking for out-of-school time leaders who are able to lead program quality initiatives. This is typically someone who is a site director, manager, or serves in a leadership position. Of this group, we want to get a broad perspective that reflects out-of-school time programs and the workforce. We are hoping to fill spots for: Various regions of Virginia School-based programming Parks and Rec programming Community-based organizations A variety of personal backgrounds
What is the commitment? Attend a 30-minute introduction virtual meeting in late June or early July. Read and review the Assessment Tool language and provide detailed feedback via written form. Meet virtually to discuss feedback with members of the review committee. This meeting will be scheduled after polling members for the best date/time in late June or early July. Agree to answer any follow-up questions from VPOST staff.
