Good afternoon,


Thank you for joining us for the VPOST 17th Annual Conference! It brings great joy to reflect upon the day. We could truly feel the strength of our village in the room!


That sense of community was clear from the start, with a powerful opening from Dr. Jennell Riddick and the village vignette featuring Angela and Maya Williams along with Michelle Simpson. We were also privileged to hear from special guest speaker Attorney General Jay Jones, who spoke about the important role afterschool programs play in supporting connection in real life (IRL). To close the day, it was wonderful to see everyone connecting and expanding their village during the table talks.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors and exhibitors for your generous support, to our workshop speakers for sharing your expertise, and to our table hosts for guiding such meaningful conversations. Additionally, we want to recognize the dedication of the founding fathers of VPOST, Dr. Mark Emery and Duane Sergent. This day would not have been possible without you.
