In the last two years, a group of 144 experts from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies from all over the world condensed their expertise into a book entitled: “Toward good simulation practice: best practices for the use of computational modelling & simulation in the regulatory process of biomedical products”.

This Glossary is a second release with an extended list of definitions; more concepts will be defined and existing definitions may be adjusted in future updates/releases of this document.

Part of the In Silico World project focuses on the collection, curation and publication of a number of data sets specifically designed to provide validation to in silico trials solutions. Partner Erasmus MC contributed to this goal with a collection to validate restenosis models for vascular stents (StentValid).

The SIMCor consortium has just concluded its first clinical focus group on in-silico medicine, organised at the Barts Health NHS Trust hospital to address clinicians and patients’ views and concerns on in-silico medicine approaches in cardiology.
