We are delighted to announce that our book “Toward Good Simulation Practice” is now FREELY available on line! This book marks a significant milestone in the field of in silico medicine, advocating for the strategic use of Computer Modelling and Similation (CM&S) as a regulatory decision support tool in the development of medical product.
On 31 January 2024 the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) published its considerations for the ongoing trilogue discussions on the EHDS. The document follows an outline of recommendations for multiple aspects such as Data sharing and Intellectual property & trade secrets.
During a press conference in London on 12 February 2024, both EU and UK officials actively encouraged scientists to engage with the Horizon Europe research program.
On 13 February 2024 the IMCO and LIBE Committees endorsed the AI Act text with an overwhelm-ing majority. The next step is for the European Parliament to adopt the text.
Code & Cure is a series of divulgation videos to spread the knowledge of in silico medicine towards a larger public with accessible animated videos spanning from models to real-world applications.

This month, we celebrate a pioneer in computational physics, Mary Tsingou. She is most known for having programmed the equations of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam problem into the MANIAC computer. Its principles and methods are now employed in analysing cardiac rhythms, neuronal activity, and more.
