Subject: Why more practice time doesn’t equal more progress

Hi Friend,

When I was coming back from burnout, I thought I needed hours a day to rebuild my playing. But the truth? I only needed 7 focused minutes.

Here’s a small tip you can try today: before you start practicing, define ONE clear goal. For example: ‘Improve intonation in measure 8 of my piece.’ Then spend 7 minutes just on that. You’ll be surprised how effective it feels.

👉 Your challenge: pick one bar of music today and give it 7 minutes of your full focus.

This is the same system I teach inside the 6-Week Challenge — but even on your own, you’ll be amazed at the progress you can make.

Hit reply and tell me what you practiced in your 7 minutes today! I’d love to cheer you on.

Never stop playing,
Marlene
