| Welcome! Let's get straight to the Energetic Forecast. The theme for this week is The Divine Feminine.
We just had Mars joining in the Pluto/Uranus Square on Monday which likely triggered off issues associated with it. That is only a beginning, however, as we are coming up on the 7th and final exact Pluto/Uranus square on the 16th of March. This is a final "statement" from an issue that has been building intensely for about 2.5 years but may have begun even before that. Know that whatever happens is for your highest learning. If you are in tune with yourself and have been listening to your intuition it may not be as bold or dramatic. It is definitely an intense emotional time.
Honor the Divine Feminine Within. March 8th was International Women's Day. Let's look at the spiritual concept of Yin/Yang balance. Regardless of your physical sex, we all have a divine feminine energy and a masculine energy within us. These two energies, united together, are responsible for the act of creation. For many years our culture has devalued the feminine energy. It has been characterized in a dis-empowering way as a weak force that is vulnerable and passive and so open to exploitation.
A recent blog post on the Tortured Feminine has this to say: "This false idea is that to be a feminine woman is to be male dependent, sweet, vacuous, unseen, submissive, weak, sexualized, quiet, subordinate, agreeable, a servant...(but) To be Divinely Feminine is to be grounded, nurturing, healing, its energy is dynamic, spontaneous, playful, deep and inclusive, warm, loving and accepting. The Divine Feminine is such a strong creative force that it is feared by both men and women."
How do we honor this part of ourselves? By acknowledging that this force is not weak. Receptivity, openness, and acceptance is the first step towards any change and creation. The nurturing, healing energy is an aspect of love. If we shut ourselves off to this out of fear of our vulnerability and woundedness, we shut off our heart to love. We sever a part of ourselves and cast out our ability for true intimacy and connection to ourselves and to others. Compassion and understanding wither. We cannot be whole human beings by doing this and living in fear of the Divine Feminine. She is a strong kick ass Goddess and deserves our deepest respect and integration into our human nature.
Client Story: Many of my clients are very strong and independent women. One in particular has trouble with being open and receptive, and is an over-giver. This is one indication of a possible imbalance--if you are always focusing on giving to others, then it is hard to receive. Receiving puts the attention on you, right? Being always busy, always doing, always giving and not trusting receiving from others can put you in an isolated spot. But the great news with this client is that she is aware of this. Awareness is everything and is interestingly enough, also a quality of the Divine Feminine. She is now actively working on being rather than doing all the time, and being open to ask for help and to receive it.

Awaken.
The Divine Feminine is a force of awakening! Balancing the masculine and feminine energies inside of us helps us to advance spiritually on our path to understanding that we are more than this body, more than our thoughts and our mind, even more than our feelings or experiences. Our true identity is union with the Divine consciousness, which blends the 2 forces together. Here we have the symbol of a caduceus--healing in western medicine. The two snakes are the masculine and feminine energies in the human energy system. When they join, healing happens! |

Soul Connections and The Divine Feminine |

From what I have learned from my clients many soul connections have the theme of masculine and feminine energy balance, especially pronounced in twin flames as each one of the pair has spent many lifetimes working on one side of the Yin/Yang.
If you are having issues in a soul connection that involve needing to develop more of the divine feminine you may see the following: difficulty accepting or feeling emotions fully, a need to develop and trust intuition, a need for compassion (especially for oneself,) a lack of acceptance, and rigid/controlled behavior, to name a few.
To be a whole human being, both sides of the coin need to be balanced. If they are not, it is very common for one to seek that set of qualities in another, and this is really the basis of many romantic relationships that may be based in unconscious patterns. For example, there may be a need to "fix" a situation that a person dealt with growing up with the opposite sex parent and one may be unconsciously attracted to a mate who helps us to realize issues related to this.
But--to get to a relationship of wholeness, one has to start to develop the qualities they lack rather than seeking to always receive those from another person in a relationship.Coming from a place of lack, it is very likely that you will create a co-dependent situation, and I will be talking in depth about that and other common relationship patterns in my webinar April 1st.
BE the change you want to SEE, and BE the person you want to ATTRACT. A good place to start is to look at where your responses to things may be dominantly coming from a masculine or feminine energetic approach, and explore how the "other side" of yourself might view it. In error, I think our society does not approach the idea of Yin/Yang balance very well at all. This is evidenced in our rigid ideas about how men need to fit into masculine energy and women into feminine energy. But, we have to take matter of energetic balance into our own hands. |
