| A Proud NEW Father..
So here's the deal.
No it's not children- a number of years ago I was 'under the knife', joining as it's affectionately known by some of my friends as the 'V' Club ..( V stands for Vasectomy :-) )
Not a new puppy or kitten..although I would love to get one soon!
About 1 month ago I noticed this on top of our light outside our door:

| | Then look who appeared flying around our front door..

This little bird is called a Cordilleran Flycatcher..with his/her spiked hair we called the pair 'Spikey'
Mr and Mrs Spikey were busy, laying 4 eggs, then hatching 4 chicks

We have been watching the pair fly around catching bugs feeding them this summer, and with the chicks getting larger, I wondered if we would be around to see them leave..
We were away with our pets camping this weekend, and I thought we would miss them
I returned Saturday to clean our downstairs vacation rental, and just 5 mins after I arrived I see the first little chick sitting on my hoodie on a chair on my deck below the nest.
Then after I was finished cleaning they were all gone.
I was glad to see them leave the nest safely, healthy, and be around to witness it!
